| Already home to world-renown tag teams like The Elites and Mass Destruction, in late-2005, the UWA tag team scene became the talk of the wrestling world as the teams of Spanky and Paul London, CM Punk and Kid Kash, and Panther and "J-Dogg" Johnny Gunn began a rivalry for the ages. By the time the teams culminated their rivalry in a classic ladder match at Game Time 2006, the Tag Titles were the focal point of a Tag Team Renaissance and, for a time, enjoyed the status as the most prestigious championship in the company. | CHAMPION | WON FROM | DATE | EVENT | | Mass Destruction | The Elites* | 8/16/03 | Hell on Earth | | The Elites | Mass Destruction (2X) | 10/19/03 | Dead or Alive | | Mass Destruction | The Elites & Tanaka/Awesome | 3/28/04 | SlamFest | | The Elites (2X) | Mass Destruction | 4/25/04 | On Deadly Ground | | Simon and Swinger | The Elites, Mass D, & Lords of the Ring | 6/27/04 | Maximum Carnage | | Lords of the Ring | Simon and Swinger | 8/15/04 | Hell on Earth | | Lance Storm & Sean Morely | Lords of the Ring | 10/26/04 | Friday Night Slam | | The Elements | Storm/Morely/The Elites | 1/11/05 | Total Annihilation | | Mass Destruction (3X) | The Elements | 4/24/05 | On Deadly Ground | | CM Punk & Kid Kash | Mass Destruction | 10/14/05 | Friday Night Slam |
