UWA CHIX: "Deadly Candy" Alyssa Sanders

Background: "Deadly Candy" Alyssa Sanders is one of the premiere wrestlers in the UWA's Women's Division. A member of the company since its inception, Alyssa rose to prominence in 2004 when she defeated Shyanne at that year's Game Time PPV to win the UWA Women's Championship. She enjoyed a 3-month reign before dropped the title back to Shyanne in May. Not long afterwards, she was handpicked by Trinity to replace Tina in a Women's Tag Team Championship match against Black Diamond. The pair was successful in its bid, and under the name "T-n-A," Alyssa and Trinity enjoyed one of the more memorable title reigns in the history of the championship.

Despite her tag success, Alyssa's true goal was to regain the Women's Title. She and Tina battled over the title throughout 2005, facing off in a variety of matches, included the epic first ever Women's Ladder Match at that year's Patriot Gamez PPV. But despite her best efforts, Alyssa was unable to topple the seemingly unbeatable Superwoman. Her repeated failures against Tina left the egotistical Sanders spiteful and filled with contempt for her rival. Hence, at Hell on Earth 2005, Alyssa gained a measure of revenge when she caused Tina to lose the Championship to Darkest Desires.

Alyssa's action naturally earned her the wrath of the Superwoman, who was furious after the title loss. Now Tina was doing the chasing, yet each time they faced off, Alyssa was able to escape with a victory. Their rivalry culminated at Apocalypse Now 2005 in a thrilling cage match, where Tina was finally able to exorcise the demon that was Deadly Candy.

Following the cage match loss to Tina, Alyssa rededicated herself to regaining the Women's Championship; however, she suffered a broken leg just days prior to a match with Champion Darkest Desires. The injury left her sidelined for 7 months.

Having returned in February 2007, Alyssa has set her sights on Champion Sherry Bop, looking to pick up where she left off by regaining the Women's Division's top prize.
